The "New" features in IE 7. We don’t want free Wi-Fi.

Windows released Internet Explorer 7 today. Don’t get so excited over the “new” features like tabbed browsing which have already been a part of Firefox and many second-tiered browsers for more than six years.

Free Wi-Fi in San Francisco may take a little longer than we expected. Last night a town hall meeting degenerated into shouting at Google and Earthlink, the companies that will be building the free wireless infrastructure.

One owner of a multi-unit property threatened Google saying he would have no part of the free Wi-Fi and that he would block the signal from his renters. The Google rep reassured the angry landlord that he can’t block the air.

  1. Zune: The Date Killer? Google’s solar. Computer commercials. Free Wi-Fi at the airport.
  2. LG Chocolate bitter. AOL free 5 GB. Hold off on Vista. Damon’s Kirk.
  3. AT&T exposes another 19,000 customers. Berkeley students online sensitivity training. Free Google books. Download YouTube to Video iPod.
  4. New iPhone? Boston Wi-Fi. CNN copies Current TV. Dotcom desperation redux.
  5. Google says don’t fear us, fear the government. Men who play BINGO are pansies.
