Don’t comment about commentary. No more free ride for Comedy Central. Hell.com is pricey.

October 30th, 2006

Sorry, but you can’t comment at the conference about commentary. Yes, ironies of ironies, but Nielsen BuzzMetrics, a company responsible for tracking consumer generated media, content and commentary, had a conference on this very subject, yet didn’t allow anyone to report or blog about it.

The days of free YouTube promotion for The Daily Show and The Colbert Report may be over. It appears that Viacom has asked the uber video sharing site to pull all the highly-viewed Comedy Central videos.

And just in time for Halloween, Hell.com is up for sale. Expected price is $1 million. And as of today, we know of no offers yet for purgatory.com.

  1. Comedy Central blocked my ZDTV video from YouTube
  2. Google finally sued BIG TIME for copyright infringement. March Madness Web 2.0.
  3. MySpace vs. Photobucket-I want my free stuff back
  4. Can Google hide behind DMCA when they know copyrighted videos are being uploaded?
  5. AT&T exposes another 19,000 customers. Berkeley students online sensitivity training. Free Google books. Download YouTube to Video iPod.
