President of the voting machine manufacturer, Diebold, wrote a nasty letter to HBO for its film “Hacking Democracy” saying that “Truth and accurate reporting are the biggest casualties of the film.” A cogent point had Diebold seen the movie. But like a voting machine that can’t accurately count votes, Diebold’s examples in the letter were citing a completely different film, VoterGate. To make matters worse, the film they were complaining about hadn’t even aired yet. Still HBO allowed Diebold to complain about their film once it did air.
Damn those robo-calling Republicans. They’re out there pretending to be representing local democratic candidates calling constituents seven or eight times just to annoy them. A tactic that could get someone so irritated they’d vote Republican. And it doesn’t matter if you’re on the national Do Not Call list, political parties are exempt.
