Free Google tips to drive traffic to your site

Brett Crosby, Senior Manager for Google Analytics, offered a list of free tools from Google to help drive traffic to your site:

  • Google Base – upload online and offline content to make it searchable. This is a great tool for search engine optimization.
  • Google Catalogs – Upload your catalogs, get your content out there and make it findable.
  • Google Webmaster tools – Upload your site map and make sure it’s completely crawled by Google.
  • Google video – Upload your videos, commercials, and demos.
  • Google News – Add images, trackable URLs, and keywords to your press releases.
  • Google Maps – Upload your content if you have local information.
  • Google Earth – Add interactive content such as snow conditions.
