I made a surprise appearance (surprise for me and the audience) on Cranky Geeks today. I stopped by the ZD offices to grab lunch with my former boss, Jim Louderback who is now the Editor-in-Chief of PC Magazine. When I showed up, they were just four minutes from recording and airing Cranky Geeks. One of their guests, Harry Fuller of CNET, hadn’t shown up yet. Harry was also my boss when I worked at ZDTV/TechTV. So myself, Jim Louderback, Andrew Eisner of Retrevo, and Cranky Geeks’ producer Annaliza Savage all sat in for Harry. We all sat in for one segment. You can catch me in the second segment after Jim Louderback. It was funny as host John Dvorak and the guests, Dave Winer and Sebastian Rupley, all referred to us as Harry Fuller.
