The first panel on Podcasting was a cross between telling novices what a Podcast is and an advertisment for PodPress, a WordPress plugin to help the Podcaster.
OK, I'm validated. The moderator just asked how many people use WordPress and everyone in the room just raised their hand.

Agreed. Hopefully, this afternoon and tomorrow will be better. So far, it seems like Blogging 101. I was hoping for more Wordpress-specific discussions.

Day 1 is geared toward new bloggers, so yeah. You'll probably get more out of it tomorrow.

Somehow this sounds familiar ;-)
It's the same thing I have when preparing a talk proposal for the annual Plone conference.. Most of the people will know Plone already and thus a "how do I start with Plone" is probably not doing it.

But then again I also mostly visit these conferences for meeting all those people :-)
