My argument is that day-to-day celebrities lives aren't everything you say they are. They're long periods of normal everyday things, and yet because they're celebrities they think everybody would be interested in knowing they just had a glass of juice.

I found this blog incredibly amusing, as it tickled my funny bone for several reasons. I agree that being a 'celebrity' in this day and age can truly be defined as those who made their names before the social media explosion, and for some reason other than social media itself. But I definitely would not go as far as to say 'celebrities' lead boring lives just like ours, as this would be stretching the truth just to make ourselves feel better. Or perhaps can be attributed to someone in a serious state of denial.
Being a celebrity is a full time job, and even harder in this day and age since social media has been added to the equation. Now they have to progress not just for the profession, entertainment value and their appearance, but also for their strategic mettle online! Or of course, picking the right agents to do so. But at this point with all the WOMMA AND FTC rules, they have to watch out for lawsuits and infringement worries as well.
I wouldn't call private jets boring. Neither would I consider attending the Oscars in Marchesa or Versace Atelier boring. I would not consider being #1 on the Billboard Charts boring, or a whirlwind tour of 23 countries in 6 months boring. Beyond entertainment I would not consider Federer, Nadal or Roddick boring, and definitely not Tiger Woods.
Performance + Pressure + Adrenaline + Reputation + Endorsements + Insecurity + Security + Money + Manolo Blahniks...definitely does not constitute a boring life. But if it makes you feel better to tell yourself that, go ahead. Then again, there is always another life.

No, not all the people who are on Twitter are boring. But just because you're a celebrity doesn't mean your tweets are all of a sudden interesting. :)
