VIDEO: Purim Follies Game Show – Lying Rabbis

by David Spark on May 4, 2009

Rabbi Ryan Bauer, Congregation Emanu-ElHere’s another game show I hosted at the Purim Follies, that silly variety show I host at my synagogue (Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco, CA). The game is a cross between “To Tell the Truth” and the “Bluff the Listener” game on “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me.” Each of the rabbis is telling the same story of something unusual or true that happened to them. Only one of the rabbis is telling the truth. The other two rabbis are lying. It’s up to the contestents to figure out which is which. Contestants get points and the rabbis get points for successfully bluffing the contestants. Enjoy. (Date: March 14th, 2009, Time: 19:53). Plus, here are tons of photos from the event and the other game show, “The Newlywed Game – Shul Edition.”
