Petty arguments do happen between billion dollar corporations

Both Google and eBay have competing payment mechanisms, Google Checkout and PayPal respectively. eBay uses PayPal exclusively. Google wants them to use its product Checkout, but eBay refuses. So to get back, Google staged a “Let Freedom Ring” party for tonight just down the street from the eBay Live! Convention in Boston. How did eBay feel about this? They responded by canceling all their advertising on Google. Realizing that spite was not a good way to foster a business relationship, Google decided to cancel the party because they didn’t want to distract from eBay’s main event.

You know, I remember when I used to behave like this. I believe I was nine.
