Some favorite videos to watch

by David Spark on September 1, 2006

Today’s SparkMinute is a time waster. It’s a collection of some of my favorite video clips online.

If you’re a fan of comic magicians Penn and Teller you’ll appreciate that 23 episodes of their Showtime show are available for free on Google Video.

Fans of the sweet American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson should take ten minutes out to have that image tainted by watching a video of her hammered at a Metal Skool concert. She participates in a rather cool rendition of Guns and Rose’s “Sweet Child of Mine.” Warning, the video has an astonishing amount of profanity.

For those of you who would like to be more productive watching video, you’ll probably find the sessions at the TED conference about technology, entertainment, and design more interesting. Watch thought provoking videos from speakers like Al Gore, Nicholas Negropante, Tony Robbins, and David Pogue.

And if you’d like to learn how to actually make a video, Israel Hyman produces IzzyVideo, a series of short videos that teach you different aspects of digital video production.
