Cranky on Google Buzz, people who don't own TVs, and Teens

February 11, 2010

Once again, I joined John C. Dvorak, Sebastian Rupley, and this time Carlos Rodela from Rad on the Web to complain about this week’s topics. We inevitably talked about Google Buzz, but since none of us had actually used it, there wasn’t much for any of us to say. Then we discussed my article “Is it still pompous to announce ‘I don’t have a TV’?” and the “Cool and not-so-cool from the Teens in Tech Conference.” This was a really fun episode. Lots of good jokes and plenty of crankiness. Watch.

  1. VIDEO: What are you learning from teens at the 'Teens in Tech' Conference?
  2. Cranky on social media rule breakers and email
  3. Cool and not-so-cool from 'Teens in Tech' Conference
  4. Cranky on RSA, web introverts, and Jimi Hendrix?
  5. Cranky on city-wide wi-fi and iPod Nano video
  • Thanks Ron. Make sure you check out my article on the issue. Got some really good debate on the issue.

Well done on this edition of CG, in fact you give the show added insight and zest. Enjoyed your comments directed at Rodela; someone should tell him Netflix, Hulu, Mevio, etc. look much better streamed onto a TV so he should accept the free plasma John Offered!
