Here’s what I love about the collection of content on the Internet. You start discovering one thing and then it sends you down the rabbit hole to discover more and more on that topic that you didn’t even know existed. Such is what happened to me today while I was listening to three different versions of The Rolling Stones’ iconic rock hit “(I can’t get no) Satisfaction.” I happened to be listening to a playlist on MOG that had back-to-back three versions of “(I can’t get no) Satisfaction.” First the Rolling Stones’ version, then Britney Spears’ version, and finally Devo’s version.
Upon listening to Britney Spears’ version, I felt compelled to send out this tweet.
Then I commented about how much I liked the Devo version and then this caused @shelholtz and @steveology to chime in. With @shelholtz digging up three more versions.
I’ve assembled many more versions, with the original first, here for you to sample. Enjoy. I think we’re in agreement with Spears’ version being the worst and Samantha Fox running a close second. But after The Rolling Stones, who do you think has the best version of “Satisfaction?”
