Facebook, Google, and the future of real-time search

Last night on WABC Radio, Curtis Sliwa and I discussed the wife of Twitter’s CEO, Evan Williams, tweeting her labor, and the new announcements around real-time search:

  • Facebook made its announcement about real-time search for all its users.
  • Facebook buys Friendfeed which has real-time search.
  • Google announces Google Caffeine which is really just an improved search with faster indexing, or so Google claims.
